(in Haiku)
The earth still rumbles
Joy, hate and blood exploding
Baby Doc returns
Debris all around
Foreign ovens bake its dough
To feed starving throng
Its mid-harvest there
And its cherry picking time
Papa Doc whispers
Much green backs on ground
Duvalier go weep there now
Love and hate confound
Agenda not clear
Papa Doc what should I do
Go replant my roots
Reconstruction, oui
Donations piled sky high
Papa still loves you

A deep poem about the situation in Haiti.
ReplyDeleteHow are you Paterika? Still a happy New Year to you and may it be a year of peace, strength and luck.
