Thoughts on Marriage

Symbols of love shown when two become one;
Drama and scenes of life have just begun,
With time sharing in a priceless treasure
Laid, opened where happiness is measured.
The adorable wife stands in the crowd
Next to her man, feeling so very proud;
Strings of joy harps loud from their soul embrace;
More spectacular than the Gold Cup race.

Warm and tender double looks are exchanged;
Married bliss in rolling years goes unchanged';
Grace after meals preludes knees bent in prayer
Worshiping God, the Father and Maker.
Faith between two souls is the glue that bonds
Love, shared equally; tightens and responds
In synergy of independent thought;
Where battles of life are kept very short.

Weaving well their own tapestry of love
In tune, with commandments sent from above;
Guiding their quest for living a good life;
Upholding covenants made as man and wife;
Two in one, yet four feet stand side by side;
Walking ahead with independent stride;
Complementing centrifugal power;
For a good marriage is sweet not sour.

Understand marriage bonding conduit ;
For it holds well the temperance template;
And wipes away the tears of bleeding hearts;
Love between two partners marriage imparts;
Kindred spirits under the same, same roof;
Holding marriage papers as legal proof;
Blessings rain on every husband and wife;
Shield them from all manner of harm and strife.
