The British Royal Family - Pattern Poem with Love

       The Christmas Lamp

Oh! The Days and nights of December,
A time for all of us, to truly rejoice together,
And think of the cash, and gifts we will surrender;
Those twenty-four days leading up to Christmas;
The maddening crowd around, rushing for a minibus,
And why must people everywhere, make this annual fuss!
Merry Christmas, rings out, and a Prosperous New Year!
Electronic voices in the open air, echoing the Yuletide cheer.
Christmas season, has come indeed, and is silent as the night
With so many beautiful trees, all decorated with bulbs that light,
Like those crystal chandeliers, they all twinkle dazzlingly bright.
Love the day is peaceful now, for folks are not walking aimlessly
About. No jostling on the streets, no mobile sellers shouting out.
Yea, you are quite right, malls are in a slump, but cash registers
Really do resemble a camel's hump to the gaiety of the merchants,
Not eating chum or rump.
So folks are at home
With their families
And presents beneath
The tree so full of lights
Now they have done the
Annual shopping spree,
Sing in rhymn and dance
All in their joyful jubilee.
And Church bells calling
The people to a midnight
Mass, as those voices sing
Soprano, tenor with bass
"The First Noel" among social
Class, Mankind of all colours
Praising Our Father and Creator
For the Immaculate Conception of the
Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ.
And Her Magisty Queen Elizabeth two on British Throne
Her message of good cheer, love and hope just like her dad
King George Sixth did with firm determination he kept the flag
For us all and his voice flowed from north, south, east and west
So this our British Royal Family with poise and decorum we adore
