Haiti's Horror

Hope walks amid the loss and people hollering
Angry earth rumbles with jaws opened
Inside crumbled structures eyes see labyrinth
Terror unleashed on their  island
Icelandic rage purged its bowels on earth
Surged to the west coast and Gulf of Mexico

Horrible nightmare unleashed
On a fragile nation
Ramshackle places scattered island wide
Ragged homes with dead bodies hard to reach
Ocean of devastation caught the eyes of the world
Rushed in to save lives came doctors from distant lands

  1. Dear Paterika

I have just come out of Bangkok and we've had bad violence in North Jakarta so your purges, surges, holler, jaws, angry and loss struck a chord with me.

    Well crafted Paterika.
