Beautiful Poem Paterika and I love roses. Thanks for visiting my blog. I stopped blogging but when I find more time I will come back. I love you blog and will visit you now and than
Dear Paterika. It is not as good as yours but a simple poem about a carnation and a fern in a vase on a table at a meeting I attended last week. I wrote it on the back of an envelope.
The beauty of the carnation and the fern Exude a calmness, washing away concern The pink and white petals epitomise life The fern like a brush, sweeping away strife
Let me be the judge of it. Your muse is beautiful. The imagery it conjures up in my mind's eye is fantastic. Oh, I see much beauty in the carnation and the silver fern. You know, the metaphor is striking and the last verse in your short poem is profound. Auē! Anō! You have given me an idea on what my next poem will be all about.
Thank you very much for your timely visit and inspiration.
Cheers to you and your lovely family. Do have a great weekend.
Paterika, you are so kind with your feedack. I can feel beauty, meaning and above all, sybolism. But the words don't always come together right.
Thanks, I had a good weekend looking after my two boys. Naila, my wife, is on holiday in India for two weeks having a break away from her all-male family. How I admire mothers.
